16-year-old Christina has been a true fighter since birth.
Born in the 24th week of pregnancy, weighing only 645 grams, she already had to
fight back then. Unfortunately, her little twin sister gave up the fight after 5 days.
Nevertheless, Christina grew up well cared for by her parents Ilse and Bernhard in the Zillertal. When Christina was 5 years old, she was blessed with a little sister.
In April 2024, Christina was diagnosed with a brain tumor. This was successfully operated on and since then she has been fighting her way back into normal life, which for Christina also includes climbing.
Climbing gives Christina strength and confidence to master her life.
In order to support Christina and her family financially (therapy costs – almost daily therapies, climbing training, etc.), the CLIMBINGZOO association has decided to launch a fundraising campaign.
YOU can be a part of it too, because every euro counts.
The end of the fundraising campaign will be marked by the CHARITY CLIMBING event on May 17, 2025 (more information to follow).
At the end, the total amount will then be personally handed over to the family.
