Kr\u00f6ll Johann was born in Zillertal in 1961. He grew up on Rohrberg and became a bricklayer. Even in his youth, Johann was an enthusiastic motorcyclist and mountaineer\/alpine climber. <\/p>

In 1993, fate struck. While Johann was climbing with his partner in the Rofan Mountains (Rofanspitze), he fell onto a rock ledge. He sustained such severe injuries that he has been in a wheelchair ever since. <\/p>

After a very long rehabilitation period, Johann bought an apartment in Ried i.Z. and set up a small workshop there. In this workshop, he crafted smaller pieces of furniture. <\/p>

The ClimbingZoo <\/strong>association has now decided to provide Johann with some financial assistance, whether for the potential purchase of a new wheelchair, possible modifications, or to cover various medical and therapy bills. <\/p>

YOU can be a part of it too, because every euro counts.<\/strong><\/p>

The fundraising campaign will conclude with the CHARITY CLIMBING event on May 9, 2026 <\/u>(more information will follow).<\/em><\/p>

The total amount will be personally handed over to Johann at the end.
